CLAUDE ROUTON WILL RIDE AGAIN FOR HABITAT
Starting May 16th, Claude will ride his bike for six days and hundreds of miles through Indiana in an effort to raise funds for our local affiliate. If you would like to help support Claude, please contact him, one of our Board members or our office.
APPICATION MEETINGS
If you would like to learn more about what it takes to partner with Habitat and possibly become a future Habitat homeowner, make plans to attend one of the following meetings. MAY 19th at 7:00 and MAY 23rd at 10:00. Both of these meetings will be held at the Jefferson County Public Library. You must attend one of these meetings to receive an application.
RIVER VALLEY DONATES LAND
Once again River Valley Financial Institution has shown its commitment to our community. The bank has donated to Habitat 4.2 acres, including a house, located at 5972 Hanover-Saluda Road. Habitat intends to sell the property at public auction in June. For more information please contact our office.
BIG YARD SALE MAY 16TH
Habitat has received many construction and household items for its future Restore. As a preview, we will be having a yard sale just north of Furniture Liquidators on the 16th. Doors open at 8 and stay open till 5. Many quality items will be available.
